Features

PrestaShop Product Feed

🔌

API connection

Trajekt connects via PrestaShop's built-in REST API using your store URL and API key. No module installation required.

🎨

Combinations

PrestaShop's combination system (colour + size variants) is correctly mapped — each combination row with shared item_group_id for Google and Meta.

📂

Category mapping

PrestaShop categories are pulled and available for google_product_category mapping in Trajekt's rules engine.

🔢

EAN support

PrestaShop's EAN13 field maps to the gtin field in your feeds automatically. GTINs improve Google Shopping match quality significantly.

💰

Reduction prices

PrestaShop's price reduction and specific price systems are pulled correctly — sale prices appear in your feeds for platforms supporting strikethrough pricing.

🔄

Daily refresh

Trajekt syncs with PrestaShop daily and regenerates all feeds automatically from your live product data.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Trajekt connects via PrestaShop's built-in REST API. In your PrestaShop admin, go to Advanced Parameters > Webservice. Enable the webservice feature and create an API key with read permissions for Products, Categories, and Combinations. Paste this key and your store URL into Trajekt.
Trajekt pulls: product names, descriptions, short descriptions, regular prices, reduction prices, stock quantities, images, EAN13 barcodes, combinations (variants) with their attributes, categories, manufacturers (brands), and product reference numbers.
PrestaShop combinations are product variants (different colour/size combinations of the same product). Trajekt pulls each combination as a separate row in your output feeds, with its own price, stock, EAN, and attribute values. All combinations share the same item_group_id for correct product grouping in Google Shopping and Meta catalogues.
PrestaShop has a built-in EAN13 field at both the product level and the combination level. Trajekt reads EAN13 from the combination level first (more specific) and falls back to the product level. This maps directly to the gtin field in your output feeds.
PrestaShop supports multiple languages with different product content per language. Trajekt can be configured to pull product data for a specific language (e.g. English) for UK-focused feeds, or generate separate feeds per language for international use.
PrestaShop's specific prices system allows temporary discounts and customer group pricing. Trajekt pulls the effective selling price (after discount application) as the regular price, and the original price as sale_price when a reduction is active. This correctly shows as a strikethrough price in Google Shopping and Meta ads.
Trajekt requires read access to: Products, Product features, Product images, Combinations, Categories, Manufacturers, and Stock availability. Write permissions are not required.
Trajekt works with PrestaShop 1.7.x and PrestaShop 8.x, both of which use the same REST API architecture. If you're on PrestaShop 1.6, the API is available but structured slightly differently — contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific version.
Trajekt checks the quantity and availability settings for each product and combination in PrestaShop. Products with 0 quantity and "Deny orders" setting are marked as out_of_stock in your feeds. You can configure rules to exclude out-of-stock products entirely from specific channels.
From one PrestaShop connection, Trajekt generates feeds for: Google Shopping, ChatGPT Shopping, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Shop, Pinterest, Microsoft/Bing, Awin, and custom XML or CSV formats. The same product data powers all channels.
No. Trajekt uses the PrestaShop API with read-only permissions. The API key requires no admin interface access — just the specific read permissions for product and catalogue data.

How PrestaShop data maps to feed attributes

Trajekt connects via the PrestaShop REST API and maps your PrestaShop data to the correct feed attributes for each channel.

Agency tip: PrestaShop's combination system maps cleanly to Google's variant structure — each combination becomes a feed row with a unique id and shared item_group_id

Common PrestaShop feed problems — and how Trajekt fixes them

Price mismatchesSale prices changing in PrestaShop but not reflected in your feed until the next crawl. Trajekt’s daily refresh (or twice-daily on Growth+) keeps prices current. A manual re-run can be triggered any time before a sale launches.
Missing GTINsPrestaShop doesn’t have a native barcode field in all versions. Trajekt maps your custom barcode/EAN attribute directly to the gtin feed field via a rule. Branded products get their GTINs; own-brand products get identifier_exists: no.
Thumbnail imagesSome PrestaShop configurations export thumbnail image URLs rather than full-size images. Trajekt maps to the full-size image URL via the API, ensuring images meet Google’s 800×800px recommended minimum.
Unoptimised titlesDefault PrestaShop product names are written for on-site browsing, not Shopping search matching. Trajekt rules restructure titles to the Shopping-optimal format (Brand + Product + Attributes) without changing anything in your PrestaShop store.
No custom labelsPrestaShop has no native custom label concept for Shopping. Trajekt sets custom_label_0–4 automatically via rules — by price range, category, stock level, or any field in your PrestaShop data.
