FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Trajekt is built for ecommerce managers and digital marketing teams who manage product feeds but don't have dedicated developer resource for feed maintenance. If you're spending time on manual CSV exports, format conversions, or troubleshooting feed errors in Merchant Center, Trajekt automates all of it.
No. Trajekt is designed to be used by marketers and ecommerce managers without technical backgrounds. Store connection requires API credentials (which your developer or platform gives you once), but day-to-day feed management, rules creation, and channel setup requires no coding.
Trajekt natively connects to Shopify (Admin GraphQL API), WooCommerce (REST API), Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce (REST API), and BigCommerce (V3 API). For other platforms, Trajekt can pull from any XML or CSV feed URL. Contact us if your platform isn't listed.
On the Agency plan, unlimited channels. Growth and Pro plans support all major channels simultaneously. One store connection generates separate, correctly-formatted feeds for: Google Shopping, Google Vehicle Ads, ChatGPT Shopping, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Shop, Pinterest, Microsoft/Bing, Awin, Kelkoo, Idealo, and more.
The Trajekt rules engine is a visual, no-code tool for transforming product data. Rules can: prepend or append text to fields (add brand to title), replace text in fields (fix capitalisation), map values (map "Jackets" to Google taxonomy ID "1604"), filter products (exclude out-of-stock items), set field values conditionally (if price > 100, set custom_label_0 = "premium"), and more.
Trajekt pulls sale prices from your store automatically. When a product goes on sale in Shopify or WooCommerce, Trajekt captures the sale price on the next feed refresh and includes it as sale_price in your feeds. Google Shopping, Meta, and Pinterest all show a strikethrough price when sale_price is lower than price.
Yes — this is the most common Trajekt use case. Connect one Shopify store and generate separate, optimised feeds for Google Shopping, ChatGPT, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Microsoft simultaneously. Each channel gets its own feed in the correct format, with channel-specific rules applied.
Trajekt checks stock status on every feed refresh. Products that go out of stock in your Shopify or WooCommerce store are automatically set to out_of_stock (or NOT_AVAILABLE for TikTok/Meta) in all your feeds. You can also configure rules to exclude out-of-stock products entirely from specific channels.
If Trajekt can't reach your store at the scheduled sync time, it logs the error and retries. Your last successful feed remains live (Google, Meta, and other platforms serve from the last uploaded version). You receive an error notification so you can investigate.
Trajekt has a free plan (up to 50 products, 1 store, 2 feeds). Paid plans start from Starter (500 products) and scale to Agency (unlimited). All plans include unlimited feed channels — you pay for product count and store count, not channel count. See /pricing for current plan details.
Yes. Trajekt's free plan lets you connect your store, set up feeds, and generate your first feed outputs with up to 50 products. This is enough to verify the platform works with your store and channels before upgrading.
