Connect your Shopify store
Trajekt connects to Shopify through the Admin API, which gives it a deeper view of your catalogue than a basic channel app — metafields, collections, every variant and live stock levels.
What you'll need
You connect Shopify by creating a private custom app inside your Shopify admin and copying its Admin API access token into Trajekt. This takes a few minutes and doesn't require anything from the Shopify App Store.
Create the access token in Shopify
In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps, create an app, and grant it read access to products, inventory and (if you sell variants) product listings. Install the app, then reveal the Admin API access token — it starts with shpat_.
Add it to Trajekt
In Trajekt, add a new Shopify source and paste in your myshopify.com domain and the access token. Trajekt will confirm the connection and report how many products it found.
Do it later if you prefer
You can create a feed and explore Trajekt before adding the token — the credential fields can be filled in from the feed's settings whenever you're ready. Your feed simply won't run until the connection is in place.
