Fixing Merchant Center disapprovals
Disapprovals are Google's way of saying a product doesn't meet its requirements. Almost all of them trace back to feed data you can fix in Trajekt without touching your store.
Missing or invalid GTIN
Google matches products using GTINs. Missing or wrong ones cause disapprovals or limited reach. See missing GTINs for how to add or correct them.
Price or availability mismatch
If the price or stock in your feed differs from your landing page, Google disapproves the product. This is usually a freshness problem — schedule more frequent refreshes.
Image issues
Low-resolution images, promotional overlays or broken image URLs get flagged. See fixing image issues.
Missing required attributes
Apparel needs age group, gender, colour and size; some categories need more. Fill gaps with static values or AI attribute inference.
Policy violations
Prohibited or restricted products, or titles that break Google's rules (ALL CAPS, promotional text). Clean titles with rules and filter out anything that can't be advertised.
