Set up a Google Shopping feed in Merchant Center

Google Shopping is the most common first channel. You generate a Google-format feed in Trajekt, then add its URL to Merchant Center as a scheduled fetch.

Generate the Google feed

Create a feed in Trajekt with Google Shopping as the destination. Trajekt produces a Merchant Center-compliant XML feed with the fields Google needs — id, title, description, link, image, price, availability, GTIN, brand and product category.

Add it to Merchant Center

In Merchant Center, go to Products → Feeds, add a primary feed for your country and language, and choose Scheduled fetch. Paste your Trajekt feed URL and set the fetch frequency to match your Trajekt refresh.

Get products approved

Google reviews products before they show. Common first-time blockers are missing GTINs, image problems and price/availability mismatches with your landing page. Each has its own fix — see fixing disapprovals.

Optimise once it's live

With products approved, the biggest lever is your titles, followed by custom labels for smarter bidding.

  1. Create a Google feed in Trajekt
Choose Google Shopping as the destination and run it.
  2. Open Merchant Center feeds
Products → Feeds → add a primary feed for your country.
  3. Choose scheduled fetch
Paste your Trajekt feed URL and set the fetch schedule.
  4. Review approvals
Check the Products tab and fix any disapprovals.
